MISS BumBum garners worldwide attention like few other beauty pageants could hope to as a host of booty-full babes hope to be crowned “best bottom in Brazil”.

When is Miss BumBum 2017?
Judging has officially begun after starting on August 7, and the hopefuls are battling it out for votes.
Currently the people are able to select their favourite girl from a shortlist on the website.
In 2015, the contest started with 27 Miss BumBum contestants, which was whittled down to a final selection after two voting rounds.
Last year the final was held in November so there is plenty of time for the girls to rack up votes.
The competition is set to be “more elegant” this year – with bums bigger than 107cm BANNED from this year’s contest.
Competition creator Cacau Oliver said: “I feel the need to reach for a new audience.”
Who are the contestants of Miss BumBum 2017?
A number of this year’s contestants have already been causing a stir – and not just for their derrières.
Curvy Gilliane Bonheur, 24, hit headlines after vowing to remove her silicone bum implants so she doesn’t have an “unfair advantage” in the competition.
Playboy model Jeni Summers will make history as the first American to compete in the world-famous Miss BumBum competition this year.
The names of more contestants will be revealed nearer the start of the competition in August 7.
Who won Miss BumBum 2016?
Last year it was Erika Canela, from Bahia, who was crowned winner after the fiercely fought contest.
Erika, who has a 42inch bottom, took home a £18,000 prize and a lucrative modelling contract.
The curvy 20-year-old was the first black woman to win the popular beauty pageant in which more than 17 million Brazilians vote for their country’s sexiest backside.
She has since commemorated her win by getting a tattoo of Donald Trump on her body after winning the title on the same day as he won the US election.
The stunning model claims he asked her to meet him while she was in Lisbon filming a reality TV show — and he was away from girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez playing for Portugal.
Previous winner Suzy Cortez, was on hand to crown the new Queen of Curves with her coveted title.
Suzy became an internet sensation after winning the gong last year by posting several saucy snaps – in which she is often half-nude – on social media.
The Brazilian beauty, who is a huge Barcelona fan, has gone on to become involved in sporting events and was made Olympic ambassador for the 2016 Games.
The Brazilian model says Kim K’s derriere is “horrible”, has had its day in the sun and should make way for a younger, cheekier replacement.
Her comments emerged as unairbrushed snaps of the Kardashian emerged online.
How does Miss BumBum work?
Those who feel they have a rear to go the distance can submit their applications to the competition panel.
They will then battle out for votes from the public from August 7 to stay in the running.
People can vote from anywhere in the world and last year they received about 17 million votes, according to creators.
A final is held in Brazil, with a catwalk and photoshoots, where the winner is eventually crowned.
