(Natural News) The Robert Koch Institute, a research agency under the German government, found that 96 percent of omicron cases in Germany are among the fully vaccinated. The Koch Institute also noted that 28 percent of the omicron positive had booster shots and only 4.42 percent are unvaccinated.

Welt reporter Tim Rohn shared the findings on Twitter. Rohn said information on 6,788 cases was provided, including four resulting in deaths and 124 in hospitalizations.

Despite the situation, Germany’s leading coronavirus expert Christian Drosten said the country can still expect a relatively normal winter in 2022-23. Drosten, head of the institute of virology at Berlin’s Charite hospital, said data suggests that omicron infections were milder and comparable to viral colds or flu.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz stressed that the pandemic is not over as Health Minister Karl Lauterbach warned that Germany is facing a fifth wave due to omicron. Around 71 percent of Germans are considered fully vaccinated.

Europe in disarray as omicron spreads over the continent

Germany, according to Lauterbach, is facing a huge challenge. With the daily death toll rising, Germany was forced to limit gatherings in sports stadium. The country is known for robust football scene. Germany, Hungary, Spain, Austria and Greece have begun vaccinating children as the omicron variant spread over the continent.

Omicron, according to the European Union’s (EU) public health body, could become the dominant variant in Europe. EU Chief Ursula von der Leyen said wearing masks should be mandatory as Europe gets ready for the new wave.

Meanwhile, protests continued in the Netherlands as thousands of people expressed their anger over the new lockdown measures in the country. Under the lockdown, all non-essential shops are closed along with bars, restaurants and venues such as museums, theaters and cinemas.

Amsterdam Mayor Mayor Femke Halsema and the local government outlawed the protests, claiming that some demonstrators are prepared for violence. A banner saying “less repression, more care” was unfurled near the Van Gogh museum, while another group held up signs like “It’s not about the virus, it’s about control and freedom.”

Demonstrations actually started on November as protesters engaged police in violent rioting in Rotterdam.

Mechanism for the Great Reset

Top virologist Dr. Robert Malone said the COVID pandemic is actually a mechanism for the Great Reset – the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) agenda to deindustrialize and depopulate the world.
